 Joann Meyer, Promotions Manager from the Get Out N Drive Podcast, established National Get Out N Drive Day to encourage everyone to hit the road, enjoy your co-pilots and see the sights. "Through the Get Out N Drive Podcast, we are able to connect with people through cars. Everyone has a story or memories of driving with their family and wishing they weren't squished in the back seat with their brother and sister. Taking their first solo drive after getting their license, driving around with their friends with the music blasting. Many people remember that old car that someone in their family or that guy up the street had. Cars and driving are a part of the road trip of our lives and we need to keep that tradition in our lives and in the lives of the generations to come. We want everyone to take a day, to get out n drive and to capture the allure and adventure of the open road."
